Brief
- NEWEST EPISODE — YOU HAVE TO CLIP THIS ONE: youtu.be/yJ4g4X-RlUQ
- THE LOOK: old-money polish colliding with early Chicago/Atlanta rap. Think a Hermès or Tom Ford ad slowed down and laid over a Chief Keef or Lucki record. Elegant, dark, a little hazy.
- THE GOAL: every clip should make people NEED to go watch the full episode.
- START HERE: search #chrisheynjr on TikTok and watch Chris's top edits (linked in reference materials) before you make anything. Copy the mood, pacing and music choices, then make it your own.
- FOOTAGE: every shot of Chris must come from the approved Chris Heyn Show episodes. New episodes drop in #new-footage on Discord.
- MIX IT IN: vintage Hermès / Tom Ford / Ralph Lauren ads, early Chief Keef & Lucki , Young Thug visuals, 2000s kid nostalgia (Saturday morning cartoons, Flash games), early-internet / VHS textures. Clean sources only: no other creator's watermark, nothing lifted from someone else's edit.
- HOOK in the first second. It decides if people stop scrolling.
- Short and rewatchable. Slow, elegant pacing is on-brief; dead air isn't.
- Cut on the beat. Moody, smooth, hazy, underground: Chief Keef (I Don't Know Dem, Everyday, Diamonds), Lucki (RIP ACT, Sunset, Count On Me 3), Playboi Carti, Grimes, Snow strippers, slowed Pastel Ghost / Crystal Castles, Deftones, Clams Casino, Lit "my own worst enemy", or happy retro like Sugar Ray "Someday".
- Vertical 9:16 only.
- Make it your own edit: your captions, your color, your cut. Never repost a raw segment.
- On-screen text is optional. If you use it, keep it tasteful: catalog typography, not meme font.
- NO loud meme edits: Impact-font captions, vine booms, zoom punches, Subway Surfers split screens.
- NO explaining the joke (e.g. "POV: the most old-money podcaster ever 💀"). If you have to explain the reference, cut it.
- Keep Chris wise, friendly and effortlessly cool: his best angles and confident energy, no unflattering freeze-frames.
- Never cut or caption his words so they mean something he didn't say.
- Never imply a brand sponsors Chris: no "Chris Heyn x Ralph Lauren" titles or sponsor-style logos.
- Post the SAME video on TikTok, Instagram Reels AND YouTube Shorts.
- REQUIRED TAGS (no tags = no pay): #chrisheynjr on EVERY platform. TikTok must also tag @thechshow. Instagram Reels must also tag @chrisheynshow. YouTube Shorts must also tag @ChrisHeynShow (it sends viewers to the full episodes). #chrisheynshow and the guest's name are optional extras.
- YOUTUBE: keep Shorts under 60s and add the song with YouTube's in-app sound picker. If YouTube blocks it, swap the song and re-upload.
- ACCOUNT: post from a personal or creator account (business accounts only get the commercial music library). A dedicated Chris Heyn clip page is recommended (e.g. chrisheynclips, heynmoments, heynedits). Never copy or mimic Chris's official handles.
- Existing pages are OK only if they fit the vibe (aesthetic, old-money, luxury, rap or culture edits). Not OK: sports, gaming, meme dumps, or pages dedicated to another creator/brand.
- No botted views or likes. Clips that ignore this brief don't get paid.
Creator requirementsClippers and editors with taste. You run an aesthetic, old-money, luxury, rap or culture edit page, or you'll start a dedicated Chris Heyn clip page. You cut on the beat, grade footage dark and hazy, and can mix in vintage ads, Flash games and VHS textures without it turning into a meme. Volume and consistency win: post every clip on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
