Fridayy is a Haitian-American singer, rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, signed to Def Jam. He is a four-time GRAMMY nominee. His voice carried DJ Khaled’s "God Did," and "Proud Of Me" with Meek Mill earned a 2026 nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance. He came up through a church choir and taught himself piano, guitar, drums, trumpet and bass, which is why his records sound sung rather than assembled. "Haiku" is the lead single from Tension, his third album, out 14 August 2026. It is a rap record built on Caribbean-influenced rhythm and warm, atmospheric production. The subject is simple and it is the whole point: he is telling a woman she is stunning, and that he wants her. The record is a man singing about how fine a woman is. That single fact is the entire creative engine of this campaign.
