GRANT KNOCHE — Performance Clipping Campaign THE GOAL The goal of this campaign is to introduce new audiences to GRANT KNOCHE as a live performer through engaging, high-quality short-form clips. GRANT is an artist, songwriter, producer, and dancer, so clips should highlight the things that make his performances stand out: choreography, vocals, stage presence, self produces and writes his own music, musicianship, energy, and crowd reactions. Think: “Wait… who is this?” We want clips that make someone who has never seen GRANT before stop scrolling, watch, and want to learn more. WHAT TO CLIP Prioritize moments that showcase: * Strong or impressive live performances * High-energy choreography / dance breaks * Impressive vocal moments * Big performance moments * Piano or stripped-back vocal moments * Crowd screaming, singing along, or reacting * Transitions between singing and dancing * Moments that show personality or charisma on stage * Visually impressive lighting, staging, or movement * Emotional moments * Anything that makes GRANT look like a next-level pop performer HOOK FAST. The first 1–2 seconds should immediately give someone a reason to keep watching. Don’t feel like you need to start at the beginning of a song. Start with the strongest moment. REQUIRED ON EVERY POST TAG GRANT Tag GRANT KNOCHE on every post so viewers can easily find who they’re watching and click through to his profile. Spell GRANT’s name in all caps… GRANT KNOCHE Make sure the tag is easy to find, either in the caption, post tag, or both when the platform allows it. The goal is to make the journey from seeing the clip → discovering GRANT as easy as possible. LINK THE OFFICIAL SONG AUDIO Whenever you’re clipping a performance of a released GRANT song, attach/link the official song track to the post on whatever platform you’re uploading to. For example, on TikTok or Instagram, search for the official GRANT KNOCHE song audio and add it to the video. Sync the official track to the performance footage so the timing lines up correctly with the video. The live/performance audio can still be the primary audio when appropriate — the important thing is that the official song is attached to the post so viewers can easily click the sound, discover the song, and stream it. Always double-check that you’re linking the correct official GRANT KNOCHE track before posting. EDITING STYLE Keep edits feeling clean, current, and performance-focused. * Vertical 9:16 format * Keep GRANT clearly visible * High-quality footage whenever possible * Use captions/text when they add context or create curiosity * Cuts should feel natural and intentional * Let strong performance moments breathe — don’t over-edit them * Make sure audio is clear and impactful * Aim for clips that feel native to TikTok, Reels, and Shorts Most clips should be approximately 10–30 seconds, but longer clips are fine when the moment warrants it. TEXT / HOOK IDEAS Use hooks that create curiosity even if the viewer has never heard of GRANT. Examples: “Pop boys need to start PERFORMING like this again” “Wait… he’s singing LIVE while doing this??” “Why is nobody talking about this guy?” “This is what I want from a pop show” “The VOCALS while doing full choreo???” “Okay wait who IS this?” “Artists who actually PERFORM >>>” “The crowd reaction says everything” “We need more male pop artists doing choreo like this” You don’t have to use these exact hooks. Get creative and test different angles. WHAT NOT TO DO DO NOT: * Make clips intentionally negative, controversial, or insulting * Use misleading claims about GRANT or other artists * Fake crowd reactions or performance audio * Heavily alter/pitch the vocals * Make edits that imply GRANT is lip-syncing * Compare GRANT negatively against another artist * Attack other artists or fanbases to generate engagement * Use excessively distracting effects, transitions, or filters * Cover important choreography/performance moments with huge text * Post clips where the audio/video quality is noticeably bad * Use moments where GRANT is clearly between songs, resetting, or otherwise not intended to showcase the performance unless there’s a compelling reason * Present speculation, rumors, relationships, sexuality, or personal life as engagement bait * Link unofficial/reuploaded versions of the song when the official track is available The goal is organic discovery through great performance, not manufactured controversy. IMPORTANT: MAKE IT FEEL ORGANIC We don’t want every post to look like an advertisement. Think about how you would post the clip if you genuinely discovered an artist performing and thought: “Holy shit, this person is good.” Captions and on-screen text can feel conversational, excited, surprised, or opinionated. Avoid overly promotional language like: ❌ “Check out GRANT KNOCHE’s amazing new performance!” Instead: ✅ “wait why have I never seen this guy before” ✅ “the fact that he’s actually singing this live” ✅ “male pop stars doing full choreo again WE WON” EXPERIMENT Different accounts and editing styles are encouraged. Test: * Vocal moments * Dance moments * Crowd reactions * Sexy/confident performance moments * Emotional moments * Funny/personality moments * “Underrated artist” angles * Pop-star / performer commentary * Raw performance clips with minimal editing * Faster edits with multiple performance moments Don’t upload the exact same clip over and over. Find different moments, hooks, songs, and angles. BEFORE YOU POST — QUICK CHECK * Is the clip vertical and high quality? * Does the first 1–2 seconds grab attention? * Is GRANT clearly visible? * Did you tag GRANT KNOCHE? * Did you attach the correct official song to the post? * Is the official track properly synced to the performance? * Does the caption/text feel natural rather than like an ad? * Would someone who doesn’t know GRANT want to watch another clip? THE NORTH STAR Every clip should answer one question: If someone has never heard of GRANT KNOCHE before, would this make them want to see another video? If yes — post it. ARTIST COMPARISONS / HOOKS We’ve noticed that clips using recognizable artist comparisons have performed especially well because they immediately give new viewers a reference point for GRANT’s sound, performance style, and overall artistry. These are encouraged! Some angles that have worked well or are worth testing: * “The next male Tate McRae?” * “If Justin Timberlake was born in 2002” * “The modern-day Justin Timberlake” * “Troye Sivan + Tate McRae = GRANT KNOCHE” * “If Tate McRae was a guy” * “For everyone asking where the male pop performers went…” * “Gen Z finally has a male pop star who DANCES” * “If you like Tate McRae / Troye Sivan / Justin Timberlake, you need to know him” * “Why does this feel like peak Justin Timberlake for Gen Z?” * “Male pop stars are performing again???” Feel free to come up with your own comparisons and combinations based on the clip you’re posting. KEEP IT POSITIVE Artist comparisons should be used as a discovery tool, not to tear another artist down. ✅ “The next male Tate McRae?” ✅ “Troye Sivan + Tate McRae = this guy” ❌ “He’s better than Tate McRae” ❌ “Justin Timberlake could never do this” We want the comments debating, reacting, and discovering — not attacking other artists or their fanbases. DON’T OVERUSE ONE ANGLE Not every video needs an artist comparison. Mix these in with vocal hooks, dance hooks, crowd reactions, underrated-artist angles, performance commentary, and clips that simply let the performance speak for itself. The goal is to test different hooks and see what audiences respond to.
